Feeling...

“I feel like something is about to happen!”

Emotions have a great influence on the thoughts you have, both positively and negatively. Emotions or feelings attached to a thought act as an engine. It activates that thought in an unusual way. It seems to drive that thought into reality in a way that doesn’t happen when feelings or emotions are not present.

The more passionate the thought and the more intense the emotion associated with that thought, the greater the impact that thought will have on a person’s circumstances. When extreme anger is present with a thought, very negative events are likely to happen. When passionate, loving thoughts are dominant, positive situations seemingly engulf a person’s life.

Strong feelings energize our thoughts

A thought with passion will certainly put those thoughts into motion. When we think and feel thoughts deep in our hearts, they become alive. The heart is the seat of our emotions. It’s the feeling associated with a thought that energizes that thought.

Our Creator gave us emotions so we can know where we are in relationship to life’s events. Our emotions give us indicators that something is prompting us to experience fear, joy, love, sadness, surprise or anger. These emotions can either serve to propel us to or set us back from fulfilling our purpose.

Unfortunately, we concentrate more on the cause of the feelings and not the cure. We know something or someone has caused us to be off point and we focus on that instead of using our emotions to propel us toward our goal.
Concentrate on feeling joy instead!
